Box Tops and Labels for Education

Keep collecting those Labels for Education and Box Tops all summer so that Candlewood can benefit in the fall.  Remember that the Box Tops need to have the expiration date intact.  Box Tops that have expired can not be redeemed.  Campbell’s Labels for Education no longer accepts the front label.  Please clip the new certificates or, if the label doesn’t have the new certificate, clip as one unit the UPC along with the Campbell’s kid or Labels for Education picture that is close to the UPC.   (We must have both the UPC and the picture.)  If in doubt as to what to clip from the label, save the entire label (including the UPC).  Have a wonderful summer and keep clipping so that next year is an even bigger success.
  1. Collect 5-point product UPCs from the Campbell’s Labels for Education™ participating brands.
  2. Glue them on the collection sheet.
  3. Turn in your completed collection sheet to your coordinator!

Without knowing the details, I am so sad about the recent deaths of two Montgomery County teens. Sadly, sometimes it takes a tragic headline to make us pay attention to the fact that lots of our kids need mental health support. I am very appreciative of the work MCCPTA and my local PTA has done to keep advocacy for children's mental health at the top of our agenda.

Here are some resources that might help families, including Operation Runaway. Most services are available in English and Spanish as well as other languages. Also, this is a great time to speak with your child, your child's mental health provider, school guidance counselor, school nurse, or Youth Services Center if you have concerns, and to share information about your school's Student Assistance Program.
