  2. Book Adventure is a free reading program for students in grades K-8. You can create their own book. Book Adventure is sponsored by Sylvan Learning, Inc.
  3. Storyline Online Sponsored by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. This site features actors who read childrens books aloud. This site is great!
  4. International Children's Library This site has a wide variety of diverse books. The site cautions that although the collection is designed for children ages 3-13 that some materials may not be appropriate for sensitive readers.
  5. My Hero You can explore historical and contemporary heroes. You can also create web pages about the people who inspire you! Appropriate for grades 2-12
  6. ProverbsThis site includes free animated online workbooks for the development of reading and math skills, Grades K-8. You can also print out free worksheets. Grades K-8
  7. Kidsread Trivia games and word scrambles based on children’s books and movies. Visit the Trivia and Games section. Grades K-5
